I swear that is a real word and after about 1 year living here you will be able to pronounce it, albeit very slowly. I am thinking when we hit the 2 year mark we may be able to speed it up.
The humuhumunukunukuapuaa is also known as a reef trigger fish. We do see them often but they are usually either attacking us or hiding from us. I spotted this statue of the trigger fish on our way down into Hanauma Bay in Oahu. A beautiful likeness from a local artist.
