Cambodian transport of goods

I don't think I've been to another country that rides and uses their bikes as much as they do in Cambodia.  Don't get me wrong, there are cars, tuk tuks and enough scooters to drive you crazy on the road, but the thing that stands out are all the bicycles.

Perhaps it is because of the lower incomes here, or the fact that bike riding is much easier in a flat country like Cambodia, but bikes are used often. School children use them for transport, street vendors pedal their wares on the back, and I have even seen large animals transported on the back!

Motorbikes can get pretty creative too!
