Bohemian Travelers

After living in Costa Rica for nearly 5 years we have become quite familiar with the wildlife here.  The small country has an unbelievable amount of wildlife largely because of the tropical setting and varying degrees of microclimates around the country.

There are more than 500,000 different species making it a country rich with biodiversity.  This is also helped by the fact that a huge percentage of the country is still undeveloped and protected land.

Every thing from butterflies and spiders to monkeys and sloths, reptiles, amphibians, birds you name it and Costa Rica probably has multiple species of each.  I decided to put together a slide show to showcase the amazing beauty of the wildlife here.  Enjoy a sampling of the beautiful wildlife below:
