Park Avenue Villas in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua: Review

We stayed three nights in a 1-bedroom suite at Park Avenue Villas in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua.  San Juan Del Sur is a popular border-hop town for expats about 40 minutes by car from the Costa Rica border.  This quaint, but slightly seedy, town has a nice harbor and is bustling with foreign tourists.  Consequently, there's a wide range of hotels, rentals homes and a couple of hostels to choose from.

Park Avenue Villas offer traditional rooms and 1-2 bedroom suites.  Because we are a good-sized family, we require a a bit more space than the traditional hotel room. The 1-bedroom suite fit the bill fine.  We were given air mattress to handle our extra bodies.  he staff was very friendly, the pool was a big hit with the kids, the air conditioners worked well, potable water was consistently delivered, and the price was affordable.  Beautiful sunset views from the second floor balcony.
